Duotone Unit Foil Wing – 2023

While the canopy panels and shape have seen improvements as to has the construction and the materials used. The Duotone Unit now features MOD3, a new canopy material, with double the strength in warp direction as well as three times the stretch resistance in warp direction. From the first pump, you’ll notice the additional power MOD3 brings and how rigid the canopy is.
 
Duotone have been at the cutting edge of wing foiling design from the very start and this desire to innovate has only grown. With the new Duotone Unit the design brief was simple enough; create a wing with stable drift that can follow the rider without pulling left, right, up or down when depowered on the wave. Easy enough but designing this to also deliver even more lift while ensuring it remained easy to handle, especially in the growing number of technical free-style wing foil manoeuvres, with a very direct feel (almost a boom like level of control) was the true challenge.  The result is a wing that delivers on all of this and more.
